Rosie Huntington Whiteley at Londons Graduate Fashion Week 2009

British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been getting plenty of attention on Fashionising.com these past few days, but that's more for posing naked in the 2010 Pirelli calendar than for her sense of style. So here's one of Rosie dressed to impress at London's Graduate Fashion Week, where she donned a bold mini-dress with fringing detail.

Leighton Meester sheer in Emilio De La Morena

While her on-screen persona is constantly upstaged in the fashion stakes, no such competition exists in real life between Leighton Meester and Blake Lively; Meester is the queen of the red carpet, and seemingly of sheer fashion if her most recent red carpet outing is anything to go by.

Attending the MTV Movie Awards, Meester donned this little black dress from Emilio De La Morena's Spring/Summer 2009 collection. Replete with sheer fabric and cut-away layering the dress walks a fine line between sexual and sensual or, put another way, is a knock out.

And to think that we were unsure that Meester would ever out-do her last foray into Sheer, courtesy of Preen.

Gucci's 2010 Cruise Collection

The first thing that strikes us about Gucci's 2010 Cruise Collection is the sense of retro-cool that oozes from the outfits. From a sporty black boyshort bikini, to a stunning floor-length gown with thigh-high split, it's almost as if the models have stepped out of a 1970s James Bond film and into the creative mind of Frida Giannini. The colour palette of black, white and navy means the pieces are geared towards being high-quality wardrobe basics; the cuts are sleek and body-conscious for a look that's simple yet sexy.Gucci's subtly retro-infused progression into 2010 is a natural follow on from their Spring/Summer 2009 collection, which featured similar seventies undertones but in bolder colours and prints.
